www.------------- will be taking over distribution of 'projekteg' chipped ecu's!



that's right kids, i'm ramping down to close down shop (well, not totally completely). after this week, i will no longer have chipped ecu's for sale through me. chris (xenocron), will be taking over sales and distributing my ecu's for me at www.-------------. i will chip ecu's and send them to him for distribution. i WILL NOT be taking any more small orders (chips, chipping kits, data logging cables, etc.) when all is said and done, however, i do have a ton of chips right now that i will continue to sell until i have just enough for myself, just pm me if interested. i will still chip YOUR ecu that you provide if you wish me to, just contact via pm. if you're waiting on an order/ecu from me right now that you have already paid for, you have nothing to worry about, they're going out as usual, i'm just trying to give everyone a little heads up to make this a smooth ramp down as opposed to an abrupt stop 8) i thank EVERYONE who has done business with me, but i'm just getting too busy and have no time for myself or my family any more. thanks guys!

How hard is it to install the data logger? can an idiot like myself do it? or do i need to take that ---- somewhere and have someone else do it?

it's very simple if you can solder/desolder. it only consists of desolderin and soldering 4 joints.

sweet! quick question, you think I can send you back my ecu and money, and you can install the data logger and check my ecu to see that everything was installed, since we had a little confusion on it before (ie the 450's ;) )cuz i really want the data logger

I would recommend learning to solder/desolder on something you dont care about. Its how I taught myself bought a couple dx dpfi ecu's

i agree with that also, or just buy some blank boards from radio shack to practice on, that's how i learned, but an actual garbage ecu would be better to get the feel of the actual surface you'll be soldering on.

kevin knows his ---- when it comes to uberdata. he has a "uberdata room" in his house, where its nothing but uberdata chipping. he is very dedicated to what he does when it comes to chipping.
he gets my vouch. :-*

to everyone whom i owe data logging cables to, they WILL be going out today! i had a hard time finding a reliable/consistent source for cables after having a fall out with super droids after they fucked my order up 3x in a row >:( anyways, i think i owe about 6 people cables, and i have over 20 in stock right now, so no need to worry, they'll be going out ASAP. sorry guys, and thanks to all of you who have been very cool about the wait :)

not sure about vtec engagement
not sure about shift light either. I use a 5" tach w/shift light

cool man, glad you finally got it, sorry it took a little longer than normal. to everyone else, yes, i've been a little slower than usual getting ecu's out, but i've been super busy and it's a lot of work for one person with a full time job and wife and kid, but i assure you, i'm getting everything out as quick as i can, and you have no need to worry ;)

so any idea on when you will be sending out more ecu's? I go out to sea soon, so i'm just curious. I'd like to get my turbo done before end of month, this is my last piece I need! O0

hey kev i just got my datalogging cable in the mail, drilled a hole in the ECU cover and plugged it up and then plugged the other end to my laptop and with those easy steps i am now datalogging ;D. thanks for the great product and i will send all my chipping services to you.

yeah dude. i 've used usb cables, max232 units that you assemble and attach to the ecu, and these one piece serial cables are the way to go in my opinion, the usb cables are good and cheap, but just not as clean looking, and a lot of people have problems with the drivers, i know i did also at first :-\ glad you got it working easily........
