Powdercoating Services w/pics now
OK guys, that old thread was getting long and confusing, I'll just update on this one now, and to save the space, just PM or email with questions @ fried_rich@hotmail.com
some pics... SORRY SO BIG, I'll shrink them when I get home.
That's the blue over silver on the charge pipes.
This is charcoal Metallic on a VW cam gear.
Mirror black on the the valve cover, distributor, and power steering resevoir. We did the brake mc and maf housing afterwords too.
This is the mix of architectual bronze and gold chrome metallic... looks pretty cool in real life...
not perfect pictures, you've really gotta seen the stuff to appreciate it, but I'll try and take some better ones and I'll get back to ya'll.
I will trade services for parts.

Colors:
Black chrome (VW cam gear shown)
Charcoal metallic - just a little litte than black chrome
85% gloss black
mirror black (wheels) 95% gloss
flat black
satin black - high temp (1000')
yellow
white
burgundy
gold chrome metallic
architectual bronze - really a brown, but sweet when mixed with the gold
silver
candy blue- looks sick over the silver
clear coat
Colors will be added constantly and I can get pretty much any color, and will for any order at no extra cost. I'll comprise the price list soon, expect low prices, as this is just a fun hobby for me, and I love making stuff look cool.

OK Here's the price list.
1st off prepping prices, includes thorough chemical cleaning and finish removal via glass bead blasting and whatever else necessary.(ie. paint, old powder coat)
$5 for small pieces like cam gears and resovoirs and simple pieces up to the size of a 6 pack or so.
$10 for valve cover or manifold. I'll sand rusty parts, and clean as well as possible, but real rusty parts may flake after time more easily that a clean part.
$15 per wheel, add $5 for more than 7 spoke designs that take a longs time. Remember, only 15" and smaller at this time.
Non-standard items email me with pic if possible, and I'll work out a price, typically no higher than $15 for prep.
Just for reference, a valve cover prep takes about 1 1/2 hours total. Including chemical stripping, wipe off, pre-bake to burn off impurities, clean again until a white rag with alcohol comes off white, and then I procede to spray. It's a long crappy process, so I'd prefer parts shipped already prepped, coating prices includes simple cleansing to remove impurities.
Coating prices
(discounts apply for multiple parts of the same color)
shipping not included-prices are for single coat, single color, email for quote on special finishes.
cam gears and similar size products - $10 for 1, $15 for 2
valve covers - $20
turbo manifolds - $30 (high temp black only)
wheels - $20 a piece or $75 for a set. Up to 15"
email for other parts, and quantity discount quotes.
The high temp coats are lower gloss, and withstand up to 1000'. That powder is way more expensive, thus the higher cost.
Also, this is only offered through HMT, and I'm just doing it for fun, so you don't have to feel like you're paying some coporate suits for this stuff. Just another Honda Enthusiast that likes to make stuff better.

To let you guys know, I've know Jung for years, and when he brought over some of his work, I was amazed that the pictures didn't do it ANY justice. Everything I've see looks great! Bizzump for C.
