yeah, the trans has a code on it. But the guy inpreperation for install painted the trans black and didnt cover the label.

Also about the small spline or large...
the end before the spline closest to the case is about .5"
splined part is 1" long and I counted 24 splines on it
the end of the spline is about .75"
