Using a 60 trim T04E compressor (same base diameter as 57 trim but slightly bigger inducer = more flow capability) with a stage 5 .63 AR turbine made 400 at ~22 psi and peaked out at ~470 whp @ 30-31 psi. That's about 550 at the crank, not too shabby. There's no way in hell anybody's getting 30 whp more at 1/3rd less boost off a (marginally) more restrictive compressor, though. The units Craig has are great 100% reliable 400 whp units, past there you work the turbo to make more but they'd push 450-460 whp for those certain speshul occasions. I can't tell you how much I like OEM quality turbos, they make life easy. :) |
