Yes sir. Look at the games I have on there. 98% of then are burned. Just use gold or really dark disks. Memorex gold work the best if they still make them.

verbatim discs work great too. memorex too expensive

 

For cd-r im not sure anymore. Verbatim definately sucks for dvd-r. I burn ps2 games for my other unit and the verbatim disks ------- suck. I had so many coasters. There are a few good ones. afterdawn.com has a good list. I dont remember the brand I ended up buying but I have only had literally one go bad out of a hundred pack. I ended up getting them for cheaper too..
