My Car!!!!!! Any interest???
Well, I'm thinking that moving this car from Ca. to Mn. just isn't something I want to do, plus I've had the urge to get another EG latley. So here's what I have. I figured out about what I've spent on the car and it totals about $5204.
89 crx hf 143k on the odometer
sprint 2 1/2" springs
tokico blues in the front
new autozone lifetime warranty axle. (pass. side)

The motor and turbo kit have about 4k miles right now. I really hate to spend the last 2 years building this car, finishing it about 3 months ago, and now sell it. Shipping the car is just so much of a hassle, so now is my opertunity to say I did what I wanted to do and start working on an EG again. The car has run a best ET of 13.86@100 at 10psi. Every time I try to run 15 psi, I blew one of those shitty homedepot couplers, but I just replaced them with the fancy purosil ones. It holds 15psi just fine now and is easily into the 12's once I get back to the track. Oh well, let me know if any of you are interested, and don't even think about parting out. The last thing I'm gonna do is end up shipping half of a car. :P

I'm up in MN and have a buddy that's been looking for a crx to work with. Not a daily driver, so it wouldn't see salt, don't worry.

The Battle of the Imports event is going on 10 mins from my house tonight. I just came back to get the crx to dyno it. (You know you always use the low key car at ricer events)
I was talking to the guy for a while. I go back to tell him I'm gonna go get the car and he tells me his WB o2 just went out, so no air/fuel tonight, but I figure WTF, that's see how much untuned power we can make at 15psi.
I'll be back in a couple hours to update.
Oh, and I'm thinking of selling the car so I don't have to take it to MN. lol Looking forward to starting the next HMT stronghold, though. Good to know your up there bakeoff.

Ok, so the first run we spiked to 19psi
, so the guy backed out of it.
Second run the car was misfiring up on the top end. Maybe too large of a a spark plug gap, maybe too rich, but with no air/fuel readings we can't be sure. Second run got us 222.5 whp with 222.5 ft/lbs torque. Wow, the same.
The guy thought that the top was rich, so we leaned it out a little bit, and for the third run we ended up with 235.5 whp and 222.7 ft/lbs torque.
The guy says that he should be able to tune my turbo edit map once I get it up and running, so if I sell the car it should be fully tuned on turbo edit as well. I also forgot to mention that the car has a b&m shifter. haha
