Modded Audi FMIC For Sale (pics)
Okay, I have my Audi 5000 intercooler for sale. I used it for 6 months and now am replacing it with a powerstroke core.
$65.00 Shipped
Measures 24 X 8.5 X 4.5
Core is 13 " wide
Two mounting tabs
It was on a 90 Civic. The only modifing required was to trim the corners of the bumper support(next to nothing) and trim the lower splash guard on the bumper.
The end tanks are made from aluminum deck plate and MIG welded to the core. Pin hole leaks were sealed by speading JB Weld over the welds as a sealant.

Okay, I'll give you a call soon. If you wait for a bit I will have some 30x6x2.5 Intercoolers for sale, I just have to fab the end tanks up at work then fix them up. I have one completed. They have some bent fins( okay alot) but I have become pretty good at straightening them. I can post pictures later.

Oh yea, and the smaller one that you have, what are the diameter of the inlet and outlet?

Okay, The powerstroke intercoolers will be about 1-2 weeks. I have one build I will post pics soon(5min).
The core needs some work. It was in an accident but any FMIC I sell I will ensure the straightest fins possible and no leaks. Also Hopefully my works TIG welder will be repaired soon or my friend can come through.
I can offer you tig welded end tanks right away (my neighbor but he will charge me quite a bit) but that will cost more.
Prices for these will be

Okay here is a shot of the Powerstroke intercooler I have. This the one I will be using.
The welds will probably look better on the next few if They are MIG because the my welder wasn't sure what to expect on this one.
For the small on, the inlets are 2", the Powerstrokes, one will be 2.5" and one will be 2"
