something is up with those motors


I got one and it was clean as new under the valve cover... it was built in 91. They must clean them or something because there is no way they my motor over ten years old can look brand new under the valve cover. Do they rebuild these motors before they send them to the US?

you let oil drainm out of it for months at a time and under the vavle cover looks bran new. they clean the outside but not hte inside.

our motors are direct imports from our mother company in tokyo. there is no cleaning they just test 'em and ship 'em, it may be differant for other companies, but thats how we do it.. i just pick the best of the bunch.
