cuz it is all dirty it just came from the junk yard i did not get a chance to clean it noNO shaft play no leaking it is the black one the gray one is a hy35 i am keepin that one

 

how much would you sell the hy35 for ?? ballpark figure??

i will attest both of these turbos are worth the 300 dollar asking price. the hy35 is off a 2004 2500 diesel with 65k on it

the other was off a late 90s work truck and is tighter than a virgin ----. i have handleed bo th of these babies personally and they are 100 percent in new condition, just a bit dusty from sitting in the yard

That hy is off of a pre-2003 cummins. In 2003-2005 the hy had the cast in forward facing compressor discharge elbow and the revised turbine housing with the 3.5" v-band discharge connection. After that they switched to a turbo that looks very similar to an hy35, but is actually a HE351. It has a larger compressor wheel and an again revised turbine housing but this time with a 4" v-band connection.

I ran an older hy35 like that one on my ford 2.3turbo 1st gen rx7, made 420hp to the wheels with it.

I just picked up a 2003 model to try on my 1.8l toyota

Holset's are darn good turbos and worth the menial amount of money they fetch used.

randy then it must have been 2002, i know it is def a 2000 and somethign truck it came off of,

also both have the vband discharge flanges and the vband cold side elbows, rare items included in the low price of 300 shipped
