that was my first reaction too, looks a little thin to be bolting a transmission to.

 

he must mean a template and not the actual plate it self

 

only needs to be 3/8"-1/2" thick.........

Thats one helluva high price for a piece of metal. Your on HMT so I don't think you'll have any luck selling something like that at that price.
