what makes that turbo a gt28r

 

I dont know, its the stock one from the edelbrock kit. I bought it from my friend who upgraded. I'm 100% sure its the gt28r (gt2560r).

 

if you have the rebuild receipt and the 3 bolt piece that conect to the charge i will thake it .. what the exhaust ar ?

 

can't be a gt28r... gt = non rebuildable... your stating its been rebuilt, only way to "rebuild" a gt series turbo is to replace the center section.... did you get that replaced? i got cash as we speak but i can guarantee that aint a gt28r... take a pic of the serial number in the center section of the turbo. if its legit, ill buy it

lol. Sorry I forgot about this post guys. I guarentee its legit. Honestly I was under the impression the GT series cant be rebuilt too. But I do know for sure it was sent to edelbrock to be checked out because it was leaking oil past the seals and supposedly they pulled it apart and checked it out, and came back as still good. So honestly I dont know if they replaced anything. I'll see if there is any kind of receipt I can get a scan from the guy I bought it from. Cool though, I will get lots more pictures for your guys tonight, including one with a pic of me holding it and a piece of paper saying "HMT.com 8-8-06". You should know I dont have the wastegate actuator (I just didnt get it) or the 3 bolt inlet flange.

 

oh yeah the box I will ship it in, is from a GT2871r (that he upgraded from). oh and this turbo spins like a dream. So much better than any thrust bearing turbo that I've owned.
