Re: GSR head

So would you be willing to sell the entire motor minus what it's missing? How about a flat rate shipping included price on that if you're willing to part with it?

Re: GSR head

if you're justing looking for a gsr motor, having it shipped from the land of the rising sun isn't gonna be very cost effective.

it would end up costing you some $$ but if your interested, im interested. the entire motor will have to be torn apart...

Re: GSR head

I would also trade for a chip burner/ostrich/...tuning stuff.

Re: GSR head

I don't think it'd be too pricey to ship it. Just send the head and the block seperately. Toss the block into a tupperware container or just support the box good. Or hell three boxes, head, block, crank/rods/pistons in another box so the block wouldn't be so heavy. Hint hint..nudge nudge.. ;) YOu know of any SR20DET GTIR longblocks for cheapsticks? lol.

Re: GSR head

i got a chip burner i will trade you for a gsr. Seriously, put the block in one box, pistons/rods/oil pan/etc in another, and the head in yet another. Shoot me a price, i will most likely take it.

Just like I told the other dude, I cant 100% atest for this because I pulled it at a yard. I will say that I had intentions on putting it on a B20 bottom end. 8)

Re: GSR head

how much can you get a 1jz with a wiring harness for?

stillnoturbo 03-04-2007 01:05 PM

Re: GSR head

Oh jez frank here come the biters. Dude a 1jz...after stripping that block complete down to nothing it'll stay weigh a shitton. ------- cast iron inline 6 block. :X The 1JZ's go cheap enough on ebay. I was checking those out and for just the longblock and nothing else are like 7-900. Hell I remember one that JHOT had or still has for like 200 cause of like a bad camshaft. Shipping a stripped down 4 cylinder aluminium block is a little easier then a big ass cast iron block. That's hernia material right thurr.

Re: GSR head

BTW, ive got a whole nother GSR motor id sell for the right price. It would have to be completly broken down to ship though...and ship via boat, so it could take some time to get it. It would be worth it in the end though...

I thought that maybe you would be interested in finding and shipping me one, since I cant seem to find an engine importer that has them. I would pay you of course.

put it in the hatch. Ive carried 3 sohc's in the trunk of my del sol before. Shitty part is, the top doesnt fit in there with it- so you gotta ride with the roof on :(

Re: GSR head

yeah...well...the head was sold...but the guy isn't getting back with me. :l

I've givin him 2 weeks to send me loot, and he hasn't. He's got until Monday and it goes back for sale. So if you want a GSR head...its $425 shipped east of the mississippi or $400 shipped west of the mississippi.

$350 for the head + the shipping...is where im getting the prices...
