Ok im going to try this. The normal price for the sockets from digikey (P/N:A347-ND) is $6.50 + the $5.00 they charge for orders under $25 and then shipping on top of that. What I am offering is to collect money and orders for a sizeable amount of ZIF Socket. The socket looks like this one (the blue one) Thanks TurboEF9

The ZIF Socket scale is as follows from digikey:

Quantity = Price per ZIF Socket
1-24 = $6.50
25-99 = $5.91
100-499 = $5.03 *this is the bracket we are looking at*
500-999 = $4.14 *this would be GREAT to get into*
1000 - 2499 = $3.84
Shipping will be $4.00 for any amount ordered.

The OBD 1 chipping kit includeing the data port connection(does not include the ZIF socket) will be $2.00 per set and will take a little longer than the ZIF's to get in. I will also include some instructions for it to install it. It will be up to you if you want to wait for everything to get in or i will ship the stuff when i get it. here will be the breakdown.

If i have to ship it AFTER i send you the first shipment you will need an extra $3.95.


So here is the status.

ZIF's ordered = 26
Price per ZIF = $5.91
Shipping for any quantity and if you decide to wait till i get everyting for the chipping = $3.95

OBD 1 Chipping Kit with instructions (Does NOT include the ZIF)
Conversions ordered = 14 (this is a guess not everyone listed how many they wanted)

Price per kit = $2.00 (this will help cover shipping for everything)

oh and BTW yes they will work on OBD 0 ECU's all you need is the ZIF you dont need the chipping kit.

What exactly is included in the chipping kit? And the data port you mentioned, Is that a serial port that will allow me to connect a romulator or something? Sorry, I'm still pretty new to chipping. I think I've got it figured out, but I wanna make sure.

the resistor, 2 caps and the chip as well as the data connection. also will include a copy of the instructions in easy to read format so youll get it right. it is EVERYTHING you need to conver your ECU to chippable state. None of the packages include any 2X256 chips.
