What makes you think that? I measured the inducer/exducer and it matched this:

Very interesting. Yeah it looked at first glance like a T04B 50 trim from the compressor cover and with the number of fins on the wheel ( most T04E's are 6 blade. and most of the compressor housings are flanged on the compressor inlet like T3 60 trim turbos off of ford Thunderbirds etc... I believe this is the same type of compressor side used on the 86-87 buick GN...

Very interested, but slightly confused. Basically this is a way to take any standard T3 and make it into a T3/T4 hybrid turbo? How much work is involved or is it kind of a plug and play situtation for any standard T3?

EDIT: What is this comparable too? So with this it is NOW a T3(turbine side)/T04E(compressor side) turbo?

Exactly, all you will need to do is take off the bolts holding on the compressor housing, the compressor wheel nut, and the bolts holding on the backplate, and yank those off. Then you put on the new backplate, the new compressor wheel, tighten up the compressor nut (I think it's 10-15 ft-lbs), and bolt the new compressor housing on.

It would then be a true t3/t4 turbo, exactly. It flows 37 lbs. and due to the large exducer (2.95") it would be much more efficient at higher boost levels as well. It should support up to 300 whp efficiently, and probably more than that if you want to push it (after all, people have reached over 280 whp on a tiny 14b lol)

This is for my stock Y8 so it'll probably spool a little later, but I want it. I'll do $75 shipped.

EDIT: You can PM me with your PayPal address and I'll pay you then, but I want it. Thanks for an excellent description.
