This is a stupid question I know and I'll apologize in advance but what determines OBDIIa or b?

Also, I'll buy the ecu just give me your paypal addy, and I'll take the conversion harness if its the one I need. If it helps this will be going in a 96 Civic Ex. I want the ecu either way, it is for a manual right?

 

Ok well I think I just found my own answer to the OBDIIa/b question. Years 96-99 are a and 2000 and up are b. Is this right? If so then your conversion harness won't work for me but I still want to buy the ecu.
