All PM's replied. Lots of questions on the Y8 head. So I will go ahead post it here.

I'm not sure about the condition of the Y8 head now. I used to be boosted with it until I blew #4 piston. A possibility exist that some valves on #4 might be bent, but I cant tell for sure since I never had a chance to test it properly. All the internals are in. VTEC solenoid included.

I just relapped the valves on the Z6 head. The head is well oiled. I'm not sure how much mileage it has since a friend gave it to me a while back. VTEC solenoid is included also.

I went through a lot of pain and fuk ups during my mini-me saga.

At one point, I had the Y8 head on with a mini-me (Y7block/Y8 head) and whole motor didnt idle right. I dint drive the car. I thought for sure it was bent valves. I was convinced. So I grabbed the Z6 head and prepped it. As I was getting ready to swap the heads, I realized that the that the timing was off by 2 teeth cuz the tensioner became loose, which may have been the possible cause of a rough idle. Since i spent so much time relapping the Z6 head, I've decided to go ahead swap the head anyway. When I did. The whole set-up went from having a rough idle to not starting at all. At the same time, a buddy called me and handed me a complete 97 B20b/LS tranny swap. I didnt want to deal with the D-series anymore. As I was parting out the Z6 head from the Y7 motor, I realized that the head gasket was completely fucked up from taking the head off so many times... that headgasket was brand new but I somehow managed to fuk it up. The jacket water was contaminated with oil.... lots of oil. The compression test revealed all cylinders below 100 psi. I thought it was the head or the piston rings. I concluded it was the headgasket.

So be the judge on the condition of these heads. That is why I'm not asking too much for it........
