looking at the pictures the m27 he had listed looks like it was a chrystler 50trim turbo mated to a nissan .48 a/r turbine housing and wastegate. I just noticed the bolts missing on the turbine housing and some chrystlers had that weird angled outlet on them.
Your "no smoke, no oil" 48/60 ended up really being a 63/60 that spit oil when the car was reved at all. The only time it wouldn't smoke was when the oil pressure was turned off. Thanks for your honesty fuckstick.
The turbo either had completely shot seals, or it had a second oil drain that routed through the downpipe somehow. I've never seen a turbo fail so bad.
