Default FS: Garrett T18A40 big turbo

This is a Garrett T18A40 from a 500hp military Detroit Diesel that only saw a couple hours of use. Shaft end play is .004" dry. Exhaust housing is AR 1.5. 5" intake and exhaust. I thought I would use it, but went with a procharger instead.

Your email address doesn't work, the mail bounces back with an error. The turbo is still available. If you need any more measurements or pictures let me know.

Sorry for the delay.

The A/R on the hot side is 1.5. Compressor trim is 43, turbine trim is 53.

The shaft end play is .004", and the side play is .022" at the exhaust turbine nut. From what I have read, that is normal for this size turbo. The shaft spins smoothly and there is no damage to the wheels or housings.

As for leaking oil seals, I don't know but I dont think so. There's no sign of oil on the compressor side, and only slight baked grime on the exhaust turbine.
