no bro there are two kinda, one being a regrind where they take the stock cam and grind on it which causes more wear on your head, and 2 being a billet cam a solid billit piece thats machined down to the right specs.

 

u told me u had 2 heads...one with a regrind and one with a zex stage 2...u told me u traded me the stage 2...me scammer no..im just using the info ur giving me...

Im still lost here...so its just a y8 cam that is grind down to be a more aggersive cam

 

wait, are you sure this is a Y8 cam and not a Z6 cam? i thought that thread was selling a Z6 head... the cams are slightly different

 

im pretty sure its a y8 cause it came with a y8 cam gear

 

When they "regrind" a cam they don't just machine material off. They weld material on and them smooth it out with grinding. Otherwise making a regrind wouldn't boost the lift and duration of a cam, it would lessen it.

i told you it was regrind to the same as a crane stg2 d16y8 cam specs. and a regrind cam has the journals and ---- machined i put a regrind into my d16a6 and i had to adjust the valve lash down so far it was pointless.
