Nah...it's way too extreme for my limited budget. I'd need all new springs, valves, retainers...not to mention a bit higher than the 11.5:1 c/r that I'll be running on basicly a slightly beefed up LS bottom end. :P

umm, didnt notice the RECOMMENDED part....maybe they will be fine on my motor

As long as there is piston clearance and no slapping or hitting, they will be fine with supporting valvetrain. You just won't be making ALL the potential power with lower compression ratio.
