For a Honda Application the AEM EMS is by far one of the most complete systems out there. Have you ever tuned with a AEM EMS? Probably not, and if you have I sure would love to see that. For the DIY person I prefer Crome or Neptune, but if your looking for a complete standalone the AEM is by far the best option.

I have used Megasquirt and wired it in a AE86 as well as a few VW's. It's a great option for the non honda applications. But for a honda a chipped P28 is going to give you about the same results as well as a much easier install and option. I like the AEM because of the fact its plug and play, I can control boost and easily setup speed dependant boost control. The options that it has are easy to configure and add. It's just easy to work with. The time I spend on Megasquirt I can already be on the road with a full tune. For some people that don't tune themselves this can be a cost saving in itself. So keep running your megasquirt, I have nothing to really bad to say about it. But your talkin to someone that has tried quite a few EMS system for honda.
