I may very possibly be interested. I've been waiting for a mani much like that one I commissioned over two months ago now. If you can push this out relatively quickly and I don't hear something from the guy very soon I'll tell him to cancel my order. What is the expected wait for one of these (if I ordered it say, 3-5 days from now? I assume it is mild steel, right?

I just need it to be able to support my super-60 with a 2.5" dp, external wastegate, and stock ac/radiator/etc.

Tall order, I know. But if come up with a workable design you can ship pretty soon, I'm probably in. Let me know. I've got a dz6y8 if it makes any difference. I plan on mounting it just like you've got it in the pic and I'm not using an internal gate, so you could just position the flange where it'll have no problem clearing the block and stock fan.
Thanks

I actually considered the tilt and a slight twist like some of the cast manifolds. Either or both should give extra clearance for the A/C which is a primary goal. My next goal is to produce marketable large diameter DP's so my customers can bolt it up without fabrication.

I would buy one of those down pipes

one other thing. When you quote the price "as-is" are you saying "like this design is made" or are you saying you aren't going to warranty these?

Will you be making these A/C compatible Manis for the d16y8 with a t25. If so, this seems like a resonable alternative to the hf with an adpater, and i might be in...it would only be another $50 or so.

yes we plan to be making these manifolds for that head, and ac compatable. I should have a d series ac manifold done by the end of tomarrow. check back for pics, they will be posted asap. for all of those that wish to use a t3 turbo and keep ac, you are going to have to switch over to an external waste gate setup being that the internal wastegate housing will NOT allow ac.

Great news.
How thick is the steel you are using for these? Just checking since they don't have a lifetime warranty like most.

Of course, these are cheaper than most. I'd pay $25 more (200 with the wastegate flange), for a lifetime warranty if you are interested. obviously, cutting up anyone's work would void a warranty, so I don't think you'll run into problems with people changing your manifolds and then trying to get you to fix em free. And a solid warranty adds piece of mind that would make your product more attractive. Just a thought.
