You didn't list the criteria, either. Are you unknowingly going to pass bad pistons off as good, because you don't know but in your ignorance assume you do?

 

Jd you may have me there, for I don't know what to really look for but visibly damaged to the ringlands, detonation scars, valve to piston scars and side scirt damage; which there is none. Other then that what do you look for?

The pistons came out a 96 auto gsr 4-door with 100k on it. The car was hit and motor pulled out. Head was then used for a lsvtec setup that Chris tune and made 194hp on a mustang dyno.
