Don't forget fresh internals especially compressor/turbine seals and o-rings because you can't re-use them no matter what. Used compressor wheel is $20 (maybe), balance is $50, and Garrett parts are $65 for just journal bearings and seals/o-rings. Add a new thrust bearing/collar for $50. That's almost $200, and DIY turbo repair is questionable at best. Ebay rebuild kits don't count either unless you want it worse off than before. Let's be realistic here lol. There's no way you can put in a used $20 compressor wheel and have the turbo perform well and reliably.
