At first I thought this was gonna be some hundred dollar set of washers to prop up the back of the hood, but I must say, I'll be in the market for one of these for my car. Why won't the 88-91 kit fit a 93?

 

not sure they may be valved different because the eg/ek hoods are a bit heavier than ef hoods. ill bet you could use them for a different body than just an ef.. ill call the place tomm and ask exactly whats different

i have one of your hood lift kits for a civic/crx 88-91 and i have a friend interested in pickin git up from me,but i was wanting to know what the differences between the 88-91 civic kits and the 92-00 civic kits are? IE: are they a different length or valved different..

Hello Marcus,

I don't have the parts list in front of me, but most of our designs utilize different gas springs - either the length or force is different - also, the brackets and mounting locations vary from vehicle to vehicle.
