what's the stamp on the rods & pistons?

 

if I remeber wright when i took the head off this weekend the top of the pistons said pm7

 

those are dohc zc jdm pistons yo

 

the block is stamped d16a1

 

Think about it guys... The DOHC ZC and DOHC D16 are the exact same thing!!!

The fact the the tranny's don't bolt to each other block, the fact that the engine mounting locations are different, and the fact the base HP is 118 or so to 130-138.

Its better said that they internally identical, tranny bolts /mount locations and intermediate shaft are different

You have a D16A1 DOHC from a 86-89 integra. 86 -87 browntop are 9.3:1 compression ratio and vaccum advanced timing dizzy. The 88-89 blacktop are 9.5:1 compression and electronic advance dizzy.

 

Mine is the black top, but come on, some one give me 35 shiped for pistons and rods then

 

Think about it you have never been around that many hondas nor worked on them
