I'm poor.
Part of my old turbo setup is for sale from my crx.
It's a 92-95 OEM honda hatch VX exhaust manifold that has been ported quite a bit and mated to a adapter tube then matched up to a T25 turbo from a 97 eclipse GST. The mani had a crack in it that DID NOT leak but I still put a bead on it from my mig welder.
The turbo had about 35k when I bought it from an old (60's) mitsubishi guy named Jim from out east. He used to hang out at the hampton's track. He upgraded to a 20g and had this one and another one laying around so I picked it up. Since I bought it I've put 20k on the turbo. THe turbo has normal shaft play, which is minimal. It has spooled fine for me and does not blow smoke.
Included is the downpipe and 02 dump tube. As you can see from the pics that the WG dumps to the atmosphere via a 2" pipe. The downpipe was made by me with 2.5" mandrel bends.
I am also throwing in a homemade oil line feed kit. It includes all everything that you need to supply oil to the turbo and was used on my car with no problems for the past 2 years. It has a "T" off the block so you can still keep your oil pressure sending unit.
The Wastegate is threaded so you are able to lower the boost if you choose. Stock setting is around 10psi but you can lower it all the way down to 1psi (it will be a little laggy tg:-) ). Most it's seen has been 13psi spikes.
I hit full boost by 3.5k rpms on my d16a1.
I never had an issue with this setup but it's time for me to move onto bigger and better things.
In my 86 crx si with a ZC at 8psi i went 13.7 @ 107mph.
