Default Clutch Disc Resurfacing - Silent Disc Type

ok heres another nifty little service im offering if anyones interested... basically what this is, is what it says.
You ship me your old worn out(but in workable condition) clutch disc I take it to my cousins shop and he removes and rivets a brand new heavy duty linning on your old clutch disk. These units are originally intended for heavy duty applications such as cargo vans, cargo trucks, busses, etc. But the sizes fit most honda clutch discs so it would work really good on your turbo application. If your clutch is slipping.
Im offering this service for 40$ + shipping
If you have and questions feel free to email me trajic1@hotmail.com

The material that is used in the resurfacing process is the same as the Silent Disc used by EXEDY clutches. This material is used for Noise and Vibration reduction. and for Higher performance as previously mentioned.

use this link to see what it looks like

well it depends when i get it.... If i get it before a friday that weekend Ill have to take a 130 mile drive to Tijuana where the shop is... and he can have the new pads put on it in about an hour. I get it back an hour later. Pack it up. Go drinking or something while im there. and ship it out to you the next business day. Im going down there this weekend to see if he can still do that for me at those prices. cause they usually charge like 60 because theyre for busses and ----.But He charges me like 30 bucks(300pesos, holy ---- thats a lotta money) to do it. so im really not making much out of it (gas and taco money)... but this is an excuse to go over there anyways... but let me know if your still interested.

Maybe.... but i have tried it with a stock pressure plate on an old eclipse i once had. It held better than a LUK clutch kit i had burned out in less than 3 months. the repaded disc was so thick that if you were at the light and had it in first gear you had to maintain the clutch pedal all the way to the floor and any little slight realease of pressure from the pedal and the car would want to take off... unfortunatly i got a little to cocky... and a combination of cockyness and fucked up motor mounts killed the ---- out of the trannys bell housing... but this is recomended for anyone who has a stock clutch but wants something better but isnt ready to spend 200+ on a new aftermarket clutch kit. or for someone who has one but already wasted the disc.
