Twin charging is actually growing in popularity, believe it or not. I think SCC is doing a boosted and blown MR2 running the engine from a Solara, if I remember right. Looks cool, blower for bottom end and turbo for top end, sounds like an awesome setup to me.

superchagers rule the street end of story.
by the time you spool they're gone.

You cannot compare a JRSC vs Greddy Turbo kit on for say a B18c1... The turbo setup blows the ------- supercharger away. I have drove several supercharged GSR's.. and everytime I have drove them, I just start laughing, because they sound like a ------- viking sewing machine, and they peak out so early its stupid. I've even installed one on a D16 for a guy. He liked it, but imo, I thought a HF/turbo setup would be way better. a Supercharger for a honda does not rule the streets johnny, you never drove one, nor have had any experience with one. (maybe for domestics they are ok. But lets compare how much support there is for blowers vs turbos for V8's.. No comparison, Blowers own the market for v8's. Just imagne driving your V8 johnny with a nice set of T3's. That thing would own...

yeah it would own. but just because the JRSC blows *** doens't mean the superchager concept sucks. i would trade MINIMAL peak horsepower loss for boost acrossed the entire rpm range.

not to mention superchargers are nice to cruise in. want to go a hill? barely have to press the gas. rather than stomp on it and build boost with a turbocharger.

driving a tt v8 would be sweet of course.

btw i saw a v8 kompressor today. pretty pimp

what's the upgradability on the jrsc compared to a turbo kit? i would take the turbo kit any day.

Regarding the twin charger system, meguires and hks have had one for awhile: http://www.teammeguiars.com/feat_typer.asp

I remember reading that article about the meguires type r on the ******* along time ago. ------- 400hp on a twin charged setup, on a STOCK B18c5, now thats some ------- tuning, Pretty sure they used HKS F-con for fuel management.
