well my buddy was finishing my mini swap in my 91 civic si, and comes to see that the blocks bad, and bad bears,... so,... im srewed, The head is off of a 95 civic ex (VTEC),. newwer cam, newwer springs, brand new valves, port polish, ported to hell, and its shaved,.. lots of money in the SOHC VTEC head,... i got it for a stealing deal, just traded my rims for it,. HA,.. buddy of mine didnt need it and doesnt use ebbay so he didnt care, also theres a REALLY nice intake manifold,.. i baught it for $200 from my same freind... figured i dont need it so ill sell it too,... then theres my rebiult SI transmission and clutch... only a few hundred miles maybe a grand on it,.. i got the paper work and receipts for it,... anyone interest just write back... my cars still at my bouddys shop,.. so when we get it back here well prolly start striping it,... ill keep yall informed,..

well my idea was to just have this mini me just to be a quick way around until i got an LS,...im going in the marines in 4 weeks anyways,.. just wanted a quick car till then,... but now im fucked,.. i dont feel like messing with a SOHC,.. alrdy put to much money in it anyways,... so i figure after boot id get a loan for a few G's,.. great intrest rates for military personel,.. and biult a turbo LS in my 2 pound 91 civic SI,.. (gutted),. nothing can be shady there ghettoturbo,.. we all have our opinions on engines,... domestics dont like the big wings,. nether do i but people still spend hundreds on them... but i feel what your saying,... i just dont want to do the work and im tired of not having a car,..!!!!!

FYI, shaving heads is not that great of an idea for forced induction. Your compression rises along with the risk of detonation.

Also, unless the port work was done by a professional, it probably flows less than it did in stock form. You can't just stick a grinder inside it and call it ported.

What makes the intake manifold "REALLY' nice? Is it a stock manifold? What exactly was done to it? I can't see spending $200 on a stock manifold.

no amd its aftermarket,... ill get pictures of it tomrrow somtime,... and all the work done to the head was professionally done in somne machine shop in virgina,.. and i know about the compression ratio,... im not doing force indution on it,.. just a head i got for a some cheap rims... was more of a steal,.. plus i didnt like the rims anyways,.. and i really dont care for a SOHC anyways,.. i want ans LS,.. but a ZC sounds better for my money sence i just had the tranny rebiult,.. plus the gears are really short in the SI,.. great for street racing, but i dont know,.. its my work,.. dont know why yall call it shady,.?
