I had one of the "type R" short shifters in my old CRX. I drove the ---- out of it and one day I broke the knob off of it :-\ It left me with like 1 or two threads though so I could screw another ball on there. It was super sweet looking/feeling 8)

lol, same thing happened to me one, Im running this B&M shifter and it seems to be very strong, you can feel the quality, they are heavy.

I have a dual bend shifter in my CRX Si. Its nice too, but I liek the way a "typical" short shifter looks more.

some people are asking me to get the dual bend one up for sale, does it feel different to the regular straight shifter?

slightly. It feels like Im driving a manual truck! lol!

but seriously, I dont notice much of a difference. Its all about the look imo. I like the way the normal ones look better...

It was in teh car when I bought it ;) I'm pretty sure it is a skunk2 short shifter though...not B&M.

I had teh standard (type-R) short shifter in my old CRX.

Are there any short shifters out there that are actually much shorter than the stock. I have one of those cheap ebay jobs and have had it for 6 months and its ok but i want a good one. I was just curious if there are any that are really short like practically right to the boot or really close?
