yea, your not kidding and you know it. Mines fucked too, but i have the security of a built engine, it could be 5 psi off and i wouldn't give a ----. I cant see the needle fly past 15 anyway when i drive.

no way its bad, he said its good, it must be. i mean it just magically reads wrong when its not hooked up to power even though its mechanical. i guess when the light illuminates it calibrates it yo, must be JDM ----.

i think some residual boost gets trapped inside the line, my fire breathing engine makes boost ALL the time... even at idle, hence the 2 psi. As far as your gauge though, your a ------ and its broken

oh, so now theres a one way valve that keeps pressure in the gauge all im saying is i would never trust a gauge that read boost off the nuts, and damn sure wouldnt buy a used one that way.

it could be like the 5" tachs and ---- i a 5"silver 3911 autometer tach and it reads like 2000 rpm sitting on my shelf and it works perfectly they have like air on the needles or something lik that

I pretty much got one for free since it was 2 psi off and I fixed it myself, there is a link floating around somewhere on here how to do it...mess up the back side of the bezel ring but you can't see that once it in the car and I tested it in my mazda against a know working guage and it is perfect...or you can send me your guage and I'll fix it for you for a small fee

tachometer is electric though, not mechanical. a mechanical gauge should always have a true reading.

For the record, i bought a turbonetics t3/t4 that week instead. I told him i would buy it next week, and when i pm'd him for his paypal... someother guy wanted it. Since the gay *** nOObs stick together (and he knew the dude that bought it wouldnt use it, check out his "whats a turbo" thread in FI) He sold it to him instead.
