I'm selling my 96 Civic EX because I'm deployed and doing a second tour.The body has 171K. I had the engine built right before I left and it had 10K on it. It now has aprox 31K on it. The engine was taken aparts and hot tanked. I bought the vitaras off of FJT on turbod16.com. It has TT rods and a micro polished z6 crank. The only thing that isn't new is the oilpump. I was going to buy a new one and mod it and put it in when I put the kit on. The clutch has 31K on it also but is stock. It also had both front axels done when the engine was put in. Besides the engine the only other mod is a cat back exaust. Since I've been deployed my mom has been driving the car 2 or 3 days a week to and from school. I've taken leave twice and have driven it from NY to DC with no problems. The only thing I have noticed with the car is that there seems to be some kind of coolant leak. I think it needs new hoses because they are the stock ones. I would give the body a 7 or 8 out of 10 for the year of the car but it still looks good. The the driver side seat has a small rip and so does the head liner next to the sunroof. The driver side sun visor also has a tear.

does that say u have grand vitara pistons in ur D series ? if so ive heard they r a low compression piston that fits a Dseries 10 thou over is it true ?? what kinda rods r u using ? like audi TT rods ??

Yes they are the suzuki vitara pistons. The rods on the Tuner Toyz H beam rods. The block is notched to fit them.

ahhhh awsome i hear this lowers compression hows that run for you if u dont mind me asking

Car runs fine. just about zero tq though. The last 2 times I've been home I've driven it from NY to D.C.
