87 shelby csx
I have too many vheicles and I'm sad to say that I am putting my csx up for sale its number 516 and it has just over 68k on it, its not practical for me right now and I'd like to see it go to another turbo mopar guy.
Good:
no rust anywhere
new tires
engine has around 4,000 miles previous owner rebuilt it non numbers matching origional engine had a cracked block
trans was rebuilt according to previous owner
turbos unleashed 6puck street n strip clutch still being broken in around 50 miles on it
new kuhmo ecsta all season tires around 2,000 miles on them
new distrubtor, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, etc.
new oil pump
new 2.5 inch turbo back exhaust with a tractor muffler will throw in a used 2.5 inch stainless dynomax for the right price
new drivers side axles good used passenger side axle
k and n drop in filter
turbo xs type h racing bov non rfl
flex fuel injectors
afpr
all shelby items intact except for mobil plaque which is in the glove box currently waiting to be installed
have a simple bleed for when the clutch is broken in
mopar performance stage 2 pcm
very clean interior
filled front motor mount
put down 165hp and 215 ft lbs of trq. with a slightly slipping clutch, car is pretty quick
bad:
dent in drivers door
missing headliner, has a few interior issues not many
missing trunk key and trunk struts are worn out
paint looks better in pics could stand to get a paint job and new stickers they are showing their age
ac is removed but have all componets to put it back in as well as the t belt cover, comes with extra t belt, coil, and misc. gaskets
valve cover gasket is starting to seap
front rotors are warped a little but have great pads
overall I love this car and hate to see it go it is the cleanest p body I have ever seen in person, I am only posting it for sale on the boards for now because I do not want someone who is not interested in these cars to buy it and tear it up. Would make a great restoration platform, I bought it from a member on ------------ and drove 5hrs to go pick it up and was not dissapointed at all, very very clean car. I have a set of bfg drag radials on shelby crabs I'll throw in for the right price as well.
I'm not quite sure what to ask for the car since I've put alot of work and money into it lately and it has absolutely no rust on it at all,
I'll start at $3800 obo and go from there

Still looks like a refrigerator on wheels though kekekeke. I'm not saying it isn't collectable though as I'm sure because it says Shelby people go nuts for them. If they made a Shelby Lebaron it would be a collectable too haha. There's a Dodge Lancer turbo on Seattle CL that looks exactly like your car for $200, but it's haggard and needs tons of work. Sleeper status for sure. GL with your sale, and hopefully you get close to what you want out of her. Peace.
i remember the time i first saw one, i fell in love with it, it was for sale too, but i was 15, & didn't have no money, i didn't knwo the exact specs, other it had aftermarket/modified exhaust & a tag surround that said "turbo performance center" so it might have been upgraded
funny, it was selling for about 3800 also
i still wonder how much my life could be different if i was able to somehow get that car
