1994 Isuzu Trooper...56K...wifes vehicle...im going to japan
I know alot of people on here wont be interested, but im gonna post it anyways...
My wife and I have to sell our vehicles before we can go to japan, or they have to sit and wait for us to return. The civic is sold, the kid says its gonna be turned into a track car (thats about all its worth) and we HAVE to sell our trooper. I will kind of miss this thing. It is a Beast. I have never gotten it suck, and yes i have tried. Snow, mud, sand, it cant be stopped. Pulled a 1 ton 4x4 ford power smoke out of the mud once with it, like I said, its a beast.
I just put new brakes on it, new tires, changed ALL of the fluids, everything. Alot of people out here (in North Carolina) use them to pull boats. It does have this "tick" to it, and its loud, but I re-assure you, there is nothing wrong with it. We have been on 3, 1100 mile road trips with it in the last 3 years, and never had one problem with it, crusing at 70-75mph. Heater works real good, AC works nicely (probably gonna need a recharge this summer) That oil spot under it on the driveway is from when Kevin comes over.
Miles, it has 171XXX on it at the moment. It shows it a little, but its not to bad. The body is in real good shape, has one spot on it where the clear coat is pealing, a spot about 8" long by 4" wide on the hood. NO RUST
What it needs...shocks. Thats pretty much it. Skyjacker has a set that would work for it, on close-out for $12 a piece on egay. They are the skyjacker brand, not some cheap egay special. One other thing, the rear driver side window doesnt go up all the way. I jb welded it the best I could after the motor went out, and the window was stuck down. The door also must be opened from the outside. Im sure if you messed with it enough, you could get it to work again, im just to lazy.
This vehicle has served its purpose very well for my wife and I, and we are kinda not looking forward to part with it. Perfect first car, perfect town runner, perfect family car, safe/dependable car.
