1994 Honda Civic SiR

Considering selling my baby.

Little low down of the car:

My car:
94 SiR

(everything in yellow = Spoon, cant see it very well)
Engine:
(I recieved the car with the built motor in it, I added a few things)
~B16A with the Toda stroker kit 1800cc
~[color=red]Toda A intake cam, B exhaust, Toda cam gears
~Toda valve springs, retainers
~ported head
~LSD tranny and I think it has a different final drive, not sure
~Newer exedy clutch OEM replacement pressure plate
~Feels lightweight flywheel
~Baffled oil pan
~OEM ITR intake/throttle body
~hondata gasket
~4-2-1header which I believe is a Spoon header, but it has a slight crack in it. No dings at all. Honest note, probably needs to be replaced soon.
~Spoon N1 axle back, aftermarket B pipe, unsure what it is, cat still there
~engine management CROME

Suspension & Brakes:
~Spoon rear upper and lower bars
~Spoonfront upper s. bar.
~OEM ITR front lower tie bar
~Spoon street struts
~H&R race springs
~ATS brake lines
~Apexi slotted rotors (front)
~Wed Sport pads in the front, OEM in the back(new)
~High temp fluid
~Cusco master cyl brace, needs to be powercoated/painted
~MUGEN RNR wheels with good tires, 65% tread.

Interior:
~Bride Brix II driver seat. Red, graditation material
~DC2 R pass seat, not currently installed but will include with the car. Its on order.
~steering wheel, dont ask. I have a black Nardi or MOMO that will go with it.
~CD player
~decent speakers

Other:
There are a few other things on it like the Spoon wing and PIAAheadlights lights, Mugen side skirts/front lip, safety 21 cage*. Currently the car has the rear seats and spare tire out, I still have these and they will be included with the car.
*the front part of the safety21 cage is not in yet, it will be put it in soon. The dash as to come out for the front part of the cage to be put in.

Condition/details:
The car was mint when i got it. Not a ding in it. Now its got a few car door dings in it. Stupid fucks have no respect for anyone's cars over here. There are some rust spots on it that need to be taken care of, and the roof needs to be re-painted. I don't show it, so its not cleaned up to be. It is a clean car, I love it, could use some new paint though. Runs super strong, though i've never done a compression test on it. (never felt the need to) Only thing wrong engine wise, it has a vac leak somewhere and I can't find it. Only thing wrong with it. (well that and the exhaust rattles) :P

Contact:
email: frankvest@gmail.com
AIM: imadumbassu2
Phone: I can call anyone.
Location: I am in the Marine Corps stationed in Okinawa, Japan.
Price/shipping:
Price is 14,000 OBO in my hand/paypal as it sits $12,000 with a stock B16 or GSR in it OBO I will include a 3 day/long weekend trip to Okinawa from So-Cal, meals and a motel say provided. I will pick you up at the airport, drive you around for the weekend etc. etc.

Shipping
There are several ways to ship it. There is a company here that will ship and legalize your vehicle for $10,000 with a florida plate and about a 8 week turn around time from the time it leaves Okinawa. That would be your best bet, and what I would recommend. Whatever you decide to do is on you. I can help you out though.

Pics will be up shortly

Re: 1994 Honda Civic SiR

there was a dude on HT who sold his car, identical to mine for $13k non-registered. im also paying for a trip here for you to check the car out....you dont wanna do that, knock $2g's off....

and $10,000 for shipping is not my price. Thats a company here. Come up with another way to ship it and by all means...

no luck selling it over there?

Re: 1994 Honda Civic SiR

I don't really wanna sell it over here. :-\ ITR sit on the lots for months on end for $10,000. Id be lucky to get $4000 for my car here. One dude offered me $6000 but he never replied back to me. I told him $6000 with my spare motor(s) and tranny...pretty much all of the parts I have.

if I dont sell it, i wont cry. I love my car. but if someone wants to give me 3x's what I have in it, I will let them have it. If I sell it, i'm getting a CTR or a FD. im just seeing whats out there...

I wonder what it would bring on ebay?

lol youd probably have better luck selling one of those itrs. ebay or ht is gonna be your best bet, especially since youre trying to turn a profit

Re: 1994 Honda Civic SiR

my motor alone is worth motor than I have in the entire car, to include the car and the $1000jci inspection. of course I wanna turn a profit.

The car is listed on HT.

For $25,000 I could build two shuttles. I think you'll get the most by parting out every ------ piece of it, and shipping it here as an unregistered shell. :y

The shipping price is just a quote from one local guy, and how I would recommend doing it. Thats insured and everything. I could tear it all apart and put it in a container in peices and it would be much cheaper. You'd get a car in peices without a license plate for about 1/2 the price, and uninsured. Thats 100% up to the buyer. I think $12,000 is a fair price for my car, in America with a paid 3 day trip to Okinawa.

1000! I bet you can't even find a company to ship a car cross country for under 1000 let alone across the ------- ocean. When I had a car shipped from socal(moreso East LA..Rialto) to WI. It ran me 750 with a discount shipped through a company my wife worked for. When I called around through a ---- load of transport companies I didnt' find anything under 1000.

Re: 1994 Honda Civic SiR

pffffh... 10k for registration through Florida.... just make sure the buyer has the jDM title, docking papers, and the customs papers and it can be registered [even in cali]. The papers are very important if you wanna do it legally, without the papers you would have to do some shady ---- or find a place that do a lien sale for you.

Or you could have it registered by this one bub down here in cali for 3-4k and it'll be carb exempt.

I thought selling wheels on HMT was outregous but all of my wheels with the exception of the MF-8's I have sold on here.

...I thought about your comment last night...I should have $4000 saved up this time next year to take my car back in peices as a track car. If you have a place that will ship it for $1000 to the states, I will give you $500 cash. ----, I will drive to your house and give it to you personally.

Frank your car is dope as hell, but definitely not worth the asking price lol. Someone would be crazy paying 22k for an sir to the us. I would just bring it back to the states and rock it as a track car as you mentioned. :y

Re: 1994 Honda Civic SiR

Frank if you get it shipped to vancouver (port) I will pick it up on a flat deck and bring it to my house, I can even inspect it for you and get it ready for the road in canada. If its 15 years old its very very easy to do here. No dissasebly or ---- all, my buddy just picked up a black 92 sir2 with a gathers system mint with around 90,000km's and mugen wheels for 9000.00 can from a importer.

SkunT 02-02-2007 10:33 PM

Re: 1994 Honda Civic SiR

As I mentioned, the price of my car is $14k with the motor, $12k with a stock B16 under the hood. if gathers makes a car worth something, I will sell you the ---- I ripped out of my car, lol.

the other $10k is for shipping, and also as I mentioned, completly up to the buyer. All I want for my car is $14k as it sits. I think its a very fair price, and I will negoiate a little.

if you have another way to get it from point a to b then by all means...get 'er done.

And thanks for the compliments. I take alot of pride in my car here. :) I think it shows.
considering 2 years ago I was driving a complete hooptie and now im driving this, I love this car. :)

How long are you going to stay there for? The wife just went back to work after the baby and Stevemode in Japan is a matter of going to the airport and saying "I'm here". Well, plus having a place to stay. :)

Re: 1994 Honda Civic SiR

I wasn't saying anything about your price I was just saying its cheap to get it to canada and easy to insure it here. If you would like that done I would have no problem doing that for you. ;)

Exactly. So you have it shipped to shady Joe Schmoe Importers in Miami and then have it shipped to wherever you live and then your just left with a stock SiR most likely. I say just join the Military, get stationed on Oki or somewhere on mainland Japan and you'll be set.

no offense to you at all or anything, but anyone who would pay 14K cost then another 10K shipping legalizing only to come out with a 13 year old honda civic would have to be one huge raging crackhead.

Look you stupid ------- cracked out peice of ----. :3 For the 10,000th ------- time, the car and the shipping costs are 2 competly different costs. If you have some back ass ---- who will legalize the car for the cost of beer, then so be it. If you can get it from Okinawa to Maimi for $1000 then do it.

My asking price for my car is $14k with the motor. How you get it to you is up to you.

Re: 1994 Honda Civic SiR

Definitly a nice ass car, but if I was gonna shell out that type of cash for the car itself and the shipping cost I would go with a 3000GT VR-4, an FD, a MKIV Poopra (occasionally less than $20k), an EVO 1-8, or an S2000 that was already located stateside.

It is a beatiful example, but no matter what is done to it, it's still a Civic and is somewhat limited because of that. If I was rich and $ wasn't an issue I'd definitly buy your car though because it would definitly be a nice addition to my 5,000 car collection ahahaha. :6
