Bingo. Not really even charging that much considering how long it takes. I have done a few for people/myself over time and some of the ones that people tried their selves are hella ghetto.

Give me the money for powder coating equipment and I'll do your's for free lol. I actually might pick one up later one when I have more room to work with.

Time. I spent probably 2-3 hours getting it totally cleaned and polished. I should have took more pictures after I cleaned the rest of the bay. Oxidation/oil/dirt over 10+ years is a bitch to get off.

Not even a wire wheel. All done with fine grit sand paper. I tried a few products but it didn't do anything. You could try pressure washing, but I didn't really like the idea of that high of pressure water shooting around in the engine bay.

Now that is a clean color. I would assume you mean still in wrinkle also? I can only find wrinkle in black or red. I'm actually going to try something on my lude valve cover that might give me the right effect with a different color. I'll post it up and let you see then.

Tried it out on a ecu cover I had laying around. Not the exact color, but you get the idea. I didn't prep either just wiped with some cleaner. Anyways, something like this?
