Bigwig - At the time, Anthony thought it was going to be $250, but he has a lot of core left over from his 3000GT group buy, so he decided to do a better price. Even at $250, you should have bought one. People don't seem to pay attention to the fact that Anthony's intercoolers are 2.75" thick as opposed to 2" - that makes a big difference in performance, so you're getting more for the money. Oh well.... :(

If anybody needs anything, let me know - I'm the "posting person" while Anthony is getting your IC's built! ;D

Yea...i agree your intercoolers are more efficient...but when it comes down to it, this setup wont see more than 275whp and the 6" from tyrus will do it and $210 compared to $250...well $40 is $40. sorry we couldnt do buisness.

Yeah, what's funny is you can sell these on Ebay for more than you bought it for. :o I sold one of those fake Spearco FMIC's that are sold by "boostcoolers" for like $345. The bastard never paid, but I did end up selling it to a fellow HMT member. ;D

I think you took my statement wrong. I was just saying that it was a good buy and that you "could" turn around and sell it for more than you paid. That is not a suggestion, nor is it my intention. I will be using mine(assuming I make it before this fills up). Sorry for the confusion. :(

Now I feel bad! Sorry - I never meant it to come out like I thought you were going to do that. But I HAVE seen it happen, and I think it is majorly uncool to do these GB's for HMT and then have them do nothing more with it than resell it for a profit - which in essence cuts into our business. The couple times I saw it happen, it was people who appeared to sign up for HMT for the sole purpose of getting in on the group buy. They had few if any posts.

For the record - I KNOW you're a good guy, Dr. Boost!! ;D Just don't give the bad apples any ideas! ;)

My opinion:
You should get the centered tanks with the top mount brackets. The intercooler should bolt right up to the bumper support(if you still have one)with the brackets up top. Chicks will dig you if you buy one of these. 8)

lol, I just realized it doesn't matter if you mount the brackets on the top or the bottom if the end tanks are centered. ::) I must have been tired when I posted that, but the part about the chicks is true. 8)
