My b16 head has dual valvesprings on the intake side. My buddy recently built his gsr head so im going to take his springs and make the exhaust side dual springs also as well as install gsr cams while im at it new valve seals but the ? is when i remove the springs im sure the valves will move do i need to reseat the valves or will the be ok to just slap back together.

 

Lets just take it apart and mark where everything goes, then clean it up like my head. I have lapping paste we can use.

Do you have the valve spring tool?

 

rearrange them in the order you took them out, check the seals for cracks, maybe give them a quick lap

 

c-clamp and a socket do you meen where the valves seal to the head or check the upper valve seals for cracks

 

I know Ive tried that on my Ls head, and boy was that a pain in the ***. After the first one I just ordered the atachment from majestic.

 

meant the seats, but it wouldn't hurt to redo the seals.

 

now if there cracked does that me the head is junk or i just need to take meterial off till the crack is gone

 

if which is cracked? cracked seats you can replace, same with seals. i don't know why your seats would be cracked, or probably want to know
