Sup all. I have trying to install crome on two different laptops running windows xp. But I get the following error on both.

Error #5007
'window.document.url' is null or not an object at line 1, column 0 near"

Anybody know what this is? Both laptops have service pack 3. I also installed frameworks 3.0 in one of them to see if that was the problem.

1.5, tried reinstalling a few times but nothing. The error window pops up as soon as I start it. If I click on it, it keeps appearing. After a 20 times clicking on it, it goes away. But if I open a bin file or anything else it comes back.

 

No idea...

 

uninstall sp3, install sp2.

see if you still have the problem. i had to ditch sp3 due to horrible glitches with everything i tried it with

Found the f***ing problem. It was my Rising antivirus program. Thanks peeps.

 

Really i am having the same problem and i have rising also. im going to delete it and see if i can get crome working again. the funny thing is i have had rising for like 6 months working with crome just fine?!?!




Edit! just uninstalled it and my crome works again.

 

Must of been one of the new updates for the antivirus program that messed things up.
