Default EG/EK radiator in crx?

Haven't posted in a while but just wonderin because I am close to putting a kkk k26 turbo in my car... I've seen a couple of people swap eg or ek radiators that or about half the size of ef radiators. Anyone do this? I know it gives you ALOT of room in the front for a massive turbo and the k26 really isn't small. I'm building a custom stainless steel tubular manifold and i want to make sure I got room for the downpipe and the turbo to actually clear the block with out it jamming into the F'in radiator so what not better to do than to swap it out for a shorte one. Some people tell me I gotta make custom brackets and others say it bolts in and I know it doesn't just bolt in. As a matter of fact Ive seen a guy totally eliminate the middle core supoort just so he could clear the tranny with the fan but then he had ---- *** hood pins on there (my hood flew up 3 times cuz lil punks undid the pins). I wanna keep that core support but I think im going to have to get a FAL skinny fan.... What do you guys think?

My friend did it and it works. It is suppose to cool better but I don't know about that. You have to make one custom bracket. It goes about where your hood latch is. The stock bracket on the passanger side bolt right in. Either jimmy rig your fan you have now or buy an Ex or after market skinny fan. You have to be careful about aftermarket fans they don't cool as good.
