Default did u torque ur TT fitting?

I bought a Tuner Toys oil take off fitting. It says to torque it to 13ft/lbs. How many of you guys actually torqued it? My torque wrech doesn't go lower than 20ft/lbs tho. Did any of yall that used it just wrech it in....or did you all tq it

I've never used a torque wrench. The torque recommendation is a rough translation of don't use an impact gun. Tighten it as if it were a spark plug or something else you don't want broken.

I just put mine in and tightened it up good. Mine got tight about 3/4 of a turn from where needed it to point, and it snugged up good by the time it went that last 3/4 of a turn. I'm sure it's more than 13 ft*lbs though, more like 20. Works good and no leaks. I used regular teflon tape too.

Stealth has it right (as always, hail stealth, etc, etc). Early on we had folks torquing the ---- out of these things, breaking them off in their blocks, then calling us all pissed. So we started asking them if they had followed the manual, yeah right. So we then just added the torque spec from the manual to the install instructions so there would not be any complaints.

Just snug it up, no need to manhandle it. If it seeps (none have ever been reported) you can always go a little more, seldom do you get a chance to go a little less.
