thanks guys. I kinda figured with such low of a TQ ratings its just to tighten till it doesn't leak. But theres some torque wreches that do go that low, and the oil sending unit in my manual says 13ft/lbs. I appreciate the help
I usually use a torque wrench for anything over 30ft/lbs or if its important to hold things together

BTW....how do u guys post pictures of ****? the best I can do is post links. And I know you guys like to see **** for answering a question... after all...this is HMT

I fail.....
I just tried the [ IMG] [ /img] using no spaces in it...and it made the links dissappear

BTW the fitting was installed. OEM sender put in. And I hooked up a mechanical oil psi gauge.

BTW...installing this fitting in a prelude sucks but is doable. I was worried whether or not i was gonna be able to install a block off plug and the fitting for the gauge once it was screwed into the block. That damn oil cooler really gets in the way.

With teflon tape, and honda tq settings... no leaks, and the gauge appears to be working, and I don't have oil spraying in the car. So its been a good day

Yeah, you can never doubt the sense of the general public too much.

Only thing I've overtorqued were valve cover bolts...those dinky pieces o' ----. Since then, I started following spec on important ----, and other than that just using common sense.

you can host pictures privately on xs.to with out any trouble. They have an option for child safe and not child safe. If you pick not child safe/adult they will only show up where you embed them(Here on HMT) and are not searchable through a search engine. They wont take them down unless no bandwith is being used by the picture for a month or so.

BTW: I torque down all the suspension parts, crank pulleys, and more ---- with the impact gun. Anything that is 12mm or small i do it by hand or small parts that screw into the block/head.

---- a torque wrench, i torque ---- down to scott-spec, if it breaks under my massively overwhelming stregnthabilities then it should have been made better from the factory.
