Default Car stopped and won't start

I wrote in another thread that my engine shut off and never wanted to start after this. I was on the highway in the traffic. I got towed and it cost me 135$...

I've checked all I can, ignitor, fuel pump, main relay, sparkplug, wire, blah...

Yesterday I pulled the injectors out to see if it was the problem, but they looked like they work. There was gas on the rubber ring so I said to myself they are 0k.

Today, I think of it and there is no reason to have gas on the rubber. If there is gas on the rubber it's because the valves don't open. If the valves don't move what it is? I pulled out the valve cover and found this.

From the coolant on the belt, I think the water pump seized then brake the belt...

When the engine shut off I don't even heard it. I changed gear then I saw the engine wasn't running, no noise of any kind... I was at idle when it happend in the traffic...

I'm not sure what I'll do with this... The fact that I'm parked in the street don't help to the problem...

just replace your water pump and belt. doublecheck you got your mechanical timing right and go. There shouldn't be a problem if it was idling in traffic, I've bought 2 ls engines people sold as junk cause the timing belt broke and both were perfect. Hopefully yours will be the same.

I've been through three myself. Wes (works at the local dealer alternative) sees them all the time. He might have come across one that bent a valve, but he didn't mention it the last time we talked about it two years ago.

Yeah, I'm going to do this...

It sucks cause it is parked in the street and I have no place to do it not far.... At least if it was a small street with not too much people. It's beside a hospital.

The nearest place is at 50km from my appartment.

Damn, and 10cm of snow tomorrow, it's not my ------- week....

I've humped transmissions in and out of RWD vehicles in a foot of snow (that's more than 10cm) in a muddy driveway with cinder blocks to hold the car up. Just man up and do it, and we might make you an honorary half-Frenchman.

lol the driveway is like you said at my parent's house, so I don't car about dirt.

I sent an email to the city to know if there is a law against this.

Since there is a hospital near, police pass on this street often in one day...

Anyway, I have to order the parts I can't do it before wednesday sure.

Is the case behind the crank pulley in plastic or in metal? There is no way I can remove that bolt in the street by hand... I can try, but I don't think it will works...

Do you think I can cut this ******?

I dont understand what your asking. Why cant you move this to where you can work on it. You dont need to tow it you need tow rops and another car. Do it late at night so there is little to no traffic
