in a week or so i will be picking up a Si CRX with an H22 swapped into it, cable to hydro conversion and a few things done to the motor

was pulled from a running car which i rode in

but in the CRX it isnt getting spark. it did have an MSD but that burnt out, and has since been removed, and now im thinking the external coil needs to be replaced as well.

basicly im lookin for an agreement on my thinking or other ideas, im gonna need to get it running within a few days after picking it up so i can get started on putting it back to street legal standards.

so, past the coil being bad, or something in the harness giving out, anyone have any ideas?

i havent been given a whole lot more info on the problem other then that but from what i understand yes

from what he has said it isnt a huge problem, just one he'd rather not deal with, and since im picking it up so cheap i dont mind messing with it

and i dont have much of a problem believeing him since he own's a local shop and has done work for me before

 

Check for power to coil (at the plug will work) Pull plug wires and get them to arc... see if you actually have spark at ALL.... how are the cap ands rotor... If no spark and coil has power... get a new coil k bai

could be a good cause.

The ICM in my dizzy took a ---- on me and I had power to the coil, and spark coming out, but there was nothing coming out of the dizzy.

Replaced dizzy since it was 13 years old, and voila...my car started.



Just take it one thing at a time and use ur head...u'll find it
