So this is what iv figured out
A - 74hc373 and i guess the jdm chip kit is smaller since its way smaller then the p28
B- 28 pin chip socket
C- Cn2 data logging port
D- C51 capacitor. Now do i have to put another capacitor in there or can i just leave that one in?
E- R54 resistor. Now do i have to replace that resistor??
F- C52 capacitor. do i need to replace that?
G - j1 jumper

The manufacturer could not have made it any easier to add an external ROM to the ECU.

They dotted the outline around all of the components you need to add/should add.

The JDM ecu's use mostly surface mount components. This needs a surface mount 74 373. Digi-key or a kit.
B- 28 pin chip socket
Same
C- Cn2 data logging port
Sure, only if you need it.
D- C51 capacitor. Now do i have to put another capacitor in there or can i just leave that one in?
This is one of should add components. Capacitors are there to get rid of noise. Ecu's function fine without them. Just leave the one that is there.
E- R54 resistor. Now do i have to replace that resistor??
This is not even dotted outlined. Not used for adding external ROM.
F- C52 capacitor. do i need to replace that?
Same as E.
G - j1 jumper
Again, dotted outline, so yes add a blob of solder or solder in a small wire.

you're looking for components you add to a USDM ecu but you have the JDM small case style.

there's the write up you need, like MADMAX said it all seems to be outlined.
