i am looking in to turboing a 1990 240sx with a sohc ka24e engine (i know the de is better but it is what it is)
i was just trying to figure out how i would go about getting it tuned?
can the stock ecu be tuned by a tuner at a shoppe? or do i need to have the stock ecu chipped with a basemap then tuned?
im sorry for the dumb questions it's just this is my first try at boost and i don't want to ---- it up (espescially since it's my dd)

and lastly i have no idea of anywhere near by with a dyno
and does xercon (i know i spelled it wrong) chip nissan ecu's or just honda?
only reason for asking is i have heard nothing but good about him here on hmt

yes the stock ecu can be chipped and tuned just like honda.. i currently chip them.. i got a ka24det project and i'm now going to run it on a P28 on crome so i could switch from that wack maf to a map base ecu.

This is the site you are going to need. BTW Chris Xenocron has 1-3 Nissan ecu on hand that he is looking at to try to chip; pm him and see what he has to say about it.
