so im looking to upgrade my vitara setup turbo, The guy who tuned my car said the turbo was already starting to fall off in the higher boost levels.. Its a ching chang t3/t4 57 trim. The car made right at 280whp on a mustang dyno on 15psi. Due to boost controler problems we didnt get to push it more.

anyways i want to go back to the dyno looking for the best CHEAP as in CHING CHANG that would be best for the setup. Head is all stock. I dont want to make the most hp and be laggy as hell im looking for the best inbetween i want hp without a shitload of lag and in my opinion i was thinking one of the ebay 60-1's would be perfect??

I have a holset hx35 at home but i think it would be way to big and laggy on a d16, so whats your guys opinons on a 60-1??

.63 turbine will be laggy as hell with a vitara setup unless you do like a 4"dp.. That exhaust flange looks different to the standard Garrett 5 falnge so you might have trouble matching one up...

A t3/t4e 57 trim with a .55A/R will spool much more nice and make your vitara setup much more fun..

 

what kind of power is that t3/t4 borg warner turbo ur talking about capable of?? Because my t3/t4 57 trim was only capable of around 300hp. BTW: i checked your sight i didnt see the turbo?? How much and where can i see it? thanks!
