So my oldest Son turns 8 tomorrow and he's off at his Grandmother's house. I am about to go to Kroger to get some balloons and pick up some ---- to bake him a cake.

The question is what flavor? I don't think he cares either way so I was thinking of
Red Velvet. My favorite, not his. Is that wrong?

Anyways, he's quite the accomplished Guitar Hero/Rock band player and I decided it was time he graduated to something with strings on it, I completely lucked out when i find out a guy down the street was having a garage sale and had a Fender Squire mini strat with a pretty nice little AMP that he gave to me for 25 bucks!! He still had the original box, he said his son never showed any interest in it. SOLD!

Anyways what kind of cake? Whichever is winning in a couple hours i'll go get.

if there was a chance in hell that an orange chicken cake would be good then i would go with that, but chocolate would be my choice and you know all of his friends will like chocolate

 

Your paying for the cake, not him. Get the red velvet. He can complain when he gets a job.

 

I used to get my mom to hook me up with a pineapple upsidedown cake on my b-day. That or a pound cake...which is really my favorite.
