how heavy would everyone say a d series head complete with dizzy, and intake manifold complete would weigh? trying to estimate shipping. i dont think its that heavy though. must be less than 50lbs all together wont you say? shoot me

 

Its not the weight that will get ya its the box size it will go oversized and rated at the size of the box.



I ship heads all the time. Complete intake manifold is around 15 pounds. head Is around 30 with vc,dist etc



but the box size is key

 

yeah i shipped a complete b series head to washington state to my buddy with pistons, main caps and a complete set of engine bolts for 80. then again it was in a homemade box. work like a charm. so i can imagine how cheap it would be to send the d series head now.

 

box size alone will start the shipping at $40

 

Flatrate it. and it should fit in like 3 boxes. Just include a few tubes of JB for the buyer.

 

best part about it is the head is im not the one sending, im receiving lol!!! (don't take that the wrong way now......) so we got a price for it. thanks, next time ill just remove mine box it up get it checked then bolt her back on!!
